Short History of Snow

The village of Snow is founded in a faraway island, a land of eternal snow, a hardy land with little arable cropland. Indeed, the formation was more out of necessity and circumstance than wish. Remnants of the Kazahana Noble house and its samurai struggled here, wher eit slowly gathered together the survivors of the Samurai in the worldwide civil war. Snow was small, but it had the advantage of large mountains that shielded it. However, Snow also was forced to frequently advance its technology to keep up with the south. It started an alliance with its even more northern Neighbor, Shan Guo, otherwise known as the country of feather. Slowly, the country of snow gained Shinobi traditions, becoming a delicate medley of technology, tradition and shinobi culture. Snow was, for a few years, usurped by a royal uncle, but was eventually restored to the rightful princess-to-be-queen, Queen Kazahana. The country was then ruled by a steward-Kage, starting from one of the royal family. The next was NarutoZac, who killed the last ruler and kept the royal family under control. Soon, though, he, too was replaced by Lalo Uchiha, Shikataoku Uchiha, Corey Uchiha, and finally Jin Nara in the space of a few decades. After this period of war, the 4th great shinobi wars broke out. Lalo Zeke Uchiha and Shikataoku Uchiha were killed, and Snow became an isolated country, as well as the only contact the Magus Association had with this world (the background data was in Arashi’s RP site, which eh deleted). Later, after some time, Jan Hakura managed to begin a process that brought all these worlds together. However, he died in the process. His daughter, Kiri Hakura, eventually became the Kage of Snow, and the family line continued several generations as steward, finally resulting in Jan Hakura IV. Since Jan Hakura II, snow has had good dealings with the Quincy and the Holy Church.

Snow’s government:

The government of snow is a triumvirate. On one hand is the Royal family, with executive power, controlling the finances and soldiers. Then there is the Holy Church and the Quincy, who do religion and defenses. Lastly is the Kage/Pontifex, who manages the shinobi and military power. Jan Hakura IV is the Pontifex, while the current Queen, Suzume Kazahana, and the Bishop, Miles Harkins Tohsaka Edgeworth de Luca III balance power. The Quincy Council head the church, and in general the base is pretty well made.

Military

Building on the Chakra Cannon Series of old, Snow is the most advanced country in the world in terms of technology and has the largest airfleet, with a naval fleet second only to Seaport. It has a shinobi branch, a Quincy Branch, an exorcist branch and MysTech.

Leagues:

Snow has strong ties with teh seaport country and Cloud. It was part of the Nonshinobi and outer country league that was defeated in the great war. Snow generally is enraged at the annexation of cloud, nad its people will do anything for independence.
