Alright....magecraft is similar to jutsu, except that instead of using handseals, it uses words to mold it. Basically, you usually use a wand for chanelling, but in this case you can use your practice sword to focus your chakra into. The most basic spell is fire. On one hand, it makes only a small spark. However, being able to do it is already a lot, since this is true magic. There are two kinds of magic--

Assisted Magic is just science with a small amount of true magic. For example, to make a fire, one would seperate Hydrogen from the air and light it with a tiny spark to make a flame. This is pretty easy.

True Magic is the stuff of miracles: teh ability to bring the dead to life, bla bla bla...in Magecraft, the practice spell is true magic, making fire from ntohign at all, and so is actually quite difficult.

The basic incantation is Ārdēscat *A fire appears in Jan's palm*

Yes...but it may be difficult, since all western Magecraft magic is true magic. The most basic attack move is an elemental spear, which is fast, versatile but a bit weak. there are different elements:


Sagitta Magica Series Ignis: Magic Arrows, Array of Fire,

Sagitta Magica, Series Lucis: Magic Arrows, Array of Light,

Sagitta Magica Series Glaciales: Magic Arrows, Array of Ice,

Sagitta Magica Aer Capturae: Magic Arrows, Binding Air,

Sagitta Magica Series Fulgurales: Magic Arrows,Array of Lightning,

Sagitta Magica Series Obscuri: Magic Arrows, Array of Darkness,

Sagitta Magica Series Aqua: Magic Arrows, Array of Water.

Sagitta Magica Series Terra: Magic Arrows, Array of Earth.

Even without much experience, it should be easy to fire even up to twenty attacks. Try to say this while channeling chakra to your hand:

This will fire seveteen ice arrows.

All of these arrows are offensive, except for Wind, which is binding. This is hte incantation

*The wind tries to bind something, but since there's ntohgint to bind, it just kind of...yeah, just kind of stays there*

What else have you got to teach?

Well...Dowsing, Alchemy, Crystal Magic, Weapons, Tracing...a lot, in any case.

Hmm, what's Tracing?

Tracing is a branch of reinforcemnet. Reinforcement is basically the strengthening of objects. If used on a sword, ti becomes sharper--if used on a candle, it'll burn brighter. Reinforcement's true strength is on body parts, since it can permanently increase your body strenght, speed or eyesight. Tracing, on teh other hand, is the ability to, using your mind, either alchemically or temporarily create a duplicate of a weapon, complete with abilities and such.

Yes. Reinforcement is slightly easier, but still pretty hard.

(Yes) Alright...Tracing is basically the ability to use magic to understand the makeup of something. It's used in Alchemy as well, since hte three stages of Alcehmy are Understanding, Deconstruction adn Reconstruction. So, basically, when you hold something, extend your mind and basically try to figure out the element (kinda hard to explain)
