so you would not use two swords because its easy to make your opponent think your leaving yourself open for an attack with one sword and be able to keep a good defensive stance?

Xanatose Mizuka: No, it's because Makashi is tied with Soresu as the most careful style--it is extremely efficient, nad uses only a llittle strength. You only need a weak push to send even a powerful slash off course. If you used two swords, it is diffiuclt to control, and if you do not have mental stability, you will do the opposite and tire yourself out both physically and mentally.

okay so it is'nt force against force but be smart and only hit it's flesh instead of the sword?
